The Arizona Community College Workforce Scholarship
In April 2024 Governor Katie Hobbs announced the creation of the Arizona Community College Workforce Scholarship Program, in partnership with Arizona’s community colleges. The program provided scholarships for 6,200 Arizonans to earn a credential, degree or build advanced skills in high-growth, high-demand fields.
The scholarship is a part of the Talent Ready AZ initiative that is working to increase Arizona's postsecondary attainment rates in order to make advancements towards the Achieve60AZ goal.
The scholarship program was offered at Arizona’s Community Colleges:
- Arizona Western College
- Central Arizona College
- Cochise College
- Coconino Community College
- Eastern Arizona College
- Maricopa Community Colleges
- Mohave Community College
- Northland Pioneer College
- Pima Community College
- Yavapai Community College
